Artist's Comments
The title refers to the days when milk was delivered daily by door-to-door roundsmen, a term that was also adopted by the Royal Flying Corps when it was first formed in World War One for the routine early morning patrols.
In this case, the relevance is to the figure who is rowing up the river, early in the morning. Oil on canvas, approx. 10in x 8in. |
