Aww, thank you. I'm kind of having a bad day, but this made me LOL. You made my day, or at least cheered me up as much as seeing an iron with steamy spectacles possibly can. Heh. :3

I think it has something to so with what masquerangel said... as well as that an iron, being hot, requires a hot pair of glasses (could replace the "hot" with "steamy", though, in which case I'd be copying masq...).

Interesting you should say that. My eyes do seem to be rather more sensitive to light than they used to be. But I don't have a top hat, and my teeth are shameful.

I made them myself! I got a sample pack of various colors from Ridout Plastics (about US $7), then cut and shaped using basic hand tools. I sort of like the blue - made a pair of goggles with the same color.
