Same goes for cats. Dad had monster feline, a rescue kitty that had grown and grown and grown and grown. It occupied two seats of a three-seat sofa, or three if it decided to be right in the middle. If humans wanted to use the couch, they had to brave claws. Big claws. Humans could us couch when the cat wasn't in.
